YMCA OF SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA IS TURNING 165!
We’re celebrating with a FREE community event* in Garvin Park/Bosse Field on Thursday, June 2nd.
From 3-6PM on the lawn in Garvin Park in front of Bosse Field, we’ll have FREE family-fun activities:
- Bounce House
- Super Slide
- Inflatable Obstacle Course
- Bungee Run
- Rock Climbing Wall
- Cornhole
- 3PM – Stand Up Yoga (no mat needed; no sitting/lying)
- 4PM – Mat Yoga (sitting/lying on mat or towel on grass)
- 5PM – Line dancing
Plus the Deaconess Aquatic Center Splash Pad will be FREE and open to the community for an additional splash of fun!
After 6PM, the celebration continues with a baseball game as the Evansville Otters take on the Lake Erie Crushers at Bosse Field. Gametime is 6:35PM. We’re giving away vintage baseball hats to the first 165 people to the game plus the Otters will be sporting throwback YMCA jerseys for the game.
These afternoon activities and baseball game are FREE and open to the community (no YMCA membership needed). Tickets are required for entry to the baseball game though.

Any regularly scheduled paid programming (i.e. youth sports, swim lessons, day camp, etc) held after noon is at the discretion of the program director. Contact your program director for details.
