Pastoral Memberships

The Y is committed not only to our local communities, but to our faith communities as well. Serving as a pastor in a local church can be stressful, and we recognize that. We are here to help by providing clergy membership subsidy and services, giving you, the pastor, a place to come and connect with others, rejuvenate your spirit, or simply to spend quality time with your family.

How can you get involved?

As a pastor, our faithful friends can:

  • Join the Y to restore your spirit, mind, and body.
  • Enjoy respite stay/rental at YMCA Camp Carson during camp’s off-season or help at YMCA Camp Carson where you and your family can stay while leading devotionals in the chapel.
  • Participate in Lunch & Learns for your congregation focusing on Health & Wellness topics.
  • Volunteer to minister to YMCA members and staff.

Financial Assistance

In an effort to encourage health and well being for individuals in our community, the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana offers an income-based rate scale through our F/A program. The rate scale correlates membership rates to annual household income. To apply, just bring a copy of your most recent tax return or two paycheck stubs and/or any other household income to the membership desk at Y. Once you complete the simple application you’ll be on your way to becoming a member of the YMCA family.

The YMCA is a place where everyone can belong—no matter what income.
