Lifeguard Training
Did you know the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana trains more lifeguards than any other local organization? We take safety around water very seriously to ensure that everyone can enjoy a splash of fun in the water.
This course recertifies lifeguards in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer all in one class. Individuals with a current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate may participate in this review course. Please make sure you review where your course is being held. There are classes at the Ascension St Vincent YMCA, and the Deaconess Aquatic Center. You must provide proof of current certification to participate in the recertification course.

- Non-Member Rate - $95/One Time
This course recertifies lifeguards in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer all in one class. Individuals with a current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate may participate in this review course. Please make sure you review where your course is being held. The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and training necessary to become a lifeguard. Participants must be 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled session of the course. This Deep Water Certification Class is held at Toyota Indiana YMCA. The class must be paid in full before the first day of the class. Class times are as follows: Thursday 4pm-8pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 9-5 pm, Sundays 9-5pm Contact Cerritos@ymcaswin.org if you have any questions.
