Swim Lessons

It’s never too late to learn to swim! Our trained aquatics staff will teach you how to float, acquire safety skills, or become a proficient lap swimmer.

The Level Five stage introduces breast-stroke and butterfly. Water safety is reinforced through treading water and sidestroke, and students will work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive strokes.

Level 4 introduces stroke technique in front & back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke.

The Level Six stage refines stroke technique on all major competitive strokes, teaches students about competitive swimming, and encourages swimming as a part of a healthy lifestyle.

The Level One stage lays the foundation that allows for a student's future progress in swimming by increasing comfort with underwater exploration and introducing basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance. Students will learn to safely exit in the event of falling into a body of water.

In the Swim Starters (level A and B) stage, parents accompany children in the water to introduce infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration and encourage them to enjoy themselves while learning about the water.

The Level 3 stage develops intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages. Students learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance than in previous stages in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage also introduces rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action.
