After School Tutoring
This is a FREE service that allows for your child to get time to work on homework and focus on areas where they may be needing assistance. Our tutoring will be provided in small groups of only 3 kids, per 1 tutor. With these small group sizes, each student will get that personal attention they need to succeed. Registration is required, and this will guarantee your child’s spot for the entire semester.

In this class, students will build a small, life-sized boat that will be tested and configured to operate as a functioning vessel. Working together, the class will combine Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to calculate the specifics of what will be necessary for the boat to hold one of the class mates. Students will use practical items, but will be encouraged to incorporate non-traditional supplies into creating the boat.
These weekend workshops encourage creativity in children. Each project will include all materials and instruction for kids to take home a fun, original project! Project examples will be displayed in advance.
How It Works Workshops
How It Works are bi-monthly workshops focused on using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to allow kids to see themselves as creators. Each participant will take home what they’ve created in the workshop!
These open-to-the-public workshops teach kids about the world of STEM, by encouraging them to use engineering and creativity to build and use working devices.
If your child has any prior experience with robotics, whether as a hobby, class, paid program, etc., this class is a great stepping stone for them! Using VEX IQ Robotics we’ll explore more advanced versions of VEX coding and Robotic utility.
Using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, these classes will teach team building, leadership, and resourcefulness to solve problems. Kids come together and build projects that involve engineering, design, art, and math. Challenges can include 3D pens, roller coaster building, earthquake test, bridge building, egg drops, raft building, and cross the chasm tests. Some of these experiments have been done in our previous Homeschool STEM classes, but we will be expanding and trying new approaches.
Homeschool S.T.E.M. – 3D Printing
Over the course of 6 weeks, we will work to design and build using our 3D printing software, and complete an actual 3D object! This class is great for creative minds and those looking for a new way to get their kids involved in something unique!
Weeknight S.T.E.M. Workshop
Each month, we’ll have a STEM workshop with a different principle and theme. There are new jobs and fields opening every day that are centered around the work of STEM. Some classes will require kids to work independently and others will utilize group work. These workshops allow kids to explore STEM while having fun!
