Summer Achievers (Tutoring)
Using an award-winning Summer Learning Loss Prevention curriculum, Summer Achievers focuses on Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. There are also fitness breaks and opportunities for hands-on activities in the STEM lab. Working in a 1:5 tutor:child ratio, kids work with the same tutor or groupmates each week. Kids can register for the Monday/Wednesday session or the Tuesday/Thursday session. If you are interested in tutoring all 4 days, then you may sign your child up for both sessions!

In this class, students will build a small, life-sized boat that will be tested and configured to operate as a functioning vessel. Working together, the class will combine Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to calculate the specifics of what will be necessary for the boat to hold one of the class mates. Students will use practical items, but will be encouraged to incorporate non-traditional supplies into creating the boat.

Weeknight STEM Workshop
Each month, we’ll have a STEM workshop with a different principle and theme. There are new jobs and fields opening every day that are centered around the work of STEM. Some classes will require kids to work independently and others will utilize group work. These workshops allow kids to explore STEM while having fun!
