Impact Plan

The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is a 501©3 nonprofit organization that has served the needs of a four county region (Vanderburgh, Gibson, Warrick and Posey) since 1857, establishing it as one of the longest serving local non-profits. Within our regional footprint, we offer services that include health and wellness, childcare, camping, community outreach, and Christian mission. The work that we do in our region is influenced by feedback from various stakeholders and a 3-year Impact Plan.

The plan is composed in two parts; 1) Foundational goals that focus on strengthening the YMCAs infrastructure and how we deliver services so that we optimize resources, allocating them carefully to areas of critical need. We can’t give our best unless we are at our best. 2) Transformative goals that push beyond our walls to address things like social determinants of health and quality of place and other impacts on the quality of life of those living within our region. When people feel good about themselves it’s infectious.

Take a look at the priorities in the 2024-2026 plan below and consider how you might help as a member, donor, or partner.
