Summer Day Camp

At the YMCA, providing safe, high-quality, and enriching experiences for all youth has always been our purpose. From games and sports to arts and crafts to outdoor adventures to science and technology, the YMCA summer day camp experience offers kids the chance to learn new things and enjoy new adventures.

With our caring and competent staff, a safe environment, and Christian values, the Y’s Summer Day Camp provides a place for your child to become the best that he/she can be!

LOGIN AND REGISTER

Join us for an out-of-this-world experience where curiosity and creativity take flight. Campers will explore the wonders of space through hands-on activities, cosmic crafts, stellar science experiments, and team adventures that spark imagination. Whether we’re building rockets, mapping the stars, or uncovering the mysteries of the universe, every day will be a new discovery. Get ready for a summer that’s truly out of this world!

Registration OPENS: 
  • January 1st- Registration for financial assistance opens 
  • February 9th- YMCA Members
  • February 23rd- Non Members
 
We offer a flexible summer camp option in that you can sign up for the entire summer or just the weeks that work best for you. Simply select the weeks that fit your plans when you register.

Apply for Assistance

The Y is here to help. Financial assistance is available for those in need to make childcare accessible to all. Financial assistance applications will be accepted starting January 1st. Financial Assistance is awarded on a first come, first serve basis.  We will begin accepting applications January 1st.

Please note: Our summer day camp schedules, including field trips, are subject to change as details are still being finalized. We will update the schedules as new information becomes available and appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

Cancel a Week of Camp

Please make sure that you carefully consider the weeks of camp that you register for. Our updated cancellation policy only allows for changes to your weeks of care to be made on or before April 7, 2026.  This allows us to better manage our wait list so that we can provide care for as many families as possible. Our Cancellation Policy states: Cancellations for any one or all weeks of care must be submitted by April 7th.  Any cancellations submitted after the April 7th deadline will not be accepted and the parent/guardian will still be responsible for payment of any weeks cancelled. 

Be a Summer Camp Counselor

If you like being a leader, you’ll enjoy working with kids as a Summer Camp Counselor! Be a role model, offer support, lead games and activities all summer long.  For more information and a link to our application, contact Kathryn Johnson at johnson@ymcaswin.org.
