At the YMCA, providing safe, high-quality, and enriching experiences for all youth has always been our purpose. From games and sports to arts and crafts to outdoor adventures to science and technology, the YMCA summer day camp experience offers
kids the chance to learn new things and enjoy new adventures.
With our caring and competent staff, a safe environment, and Christian values, the Y’s Summer Day Camp provides a place for your child to become the best that he/she can be!
Get ready for a summer of glitz, glam, and unforgettable memories at YMCA Summer Day Camp! We are busy planning for the summer of 2025 and will be Rolling Out the Red Carpet, inviting campers to step into a world of excitement and creativity. Each week, campers will embark on thrilling adventures with unique themes – from Hollywood Stars and Y-Camp’s Got Talent to Sports Stars and Carnival Spectacular.
Camp runs from May 27 – August 1 (no camp on July 4) from 6:30am – 5:30pm in Evansville and 6:00am-5:30pm in Princeton. We offer a flexible summer camp option in that you can sign up for the entire summer or just the weeks that work best for you. Simply select the weeks that fit your plans when you register.
The Y is here to help. Financial assistance is available for those in need to make childcare accessible to all. Financial assistance applications will be accepted starting January 1st. Financial Assistance is awarded on a first come, first serve basis. All financial assistance has been awarded for the 2025 season.
Weekly camp agendas will be uploaded on May 5, 2025. Please note that the Weekly Agenda page is password protected.
Please make sure that you carefully consider the weeks of camp that you register for. Our updated cancellation policy only allows for changes to your weeks of care to be made on or before April 8, 2025. This allows us to better manage our wait list so that we can provide care for as many families as possible. Our Cancellation Policy states: Cancellations for any one or all weeks of care must be submitted by April 8th. Any cancellations submitted after the April 8th deadline will not be accepted and the parent/guardian will still be responsible for payment of any weeks cancelled.
If you like being a leader, you’ll enjoy working with kids as a Summer Camp Counselor! Be a role model, offer support, lead games and activities all summer long. For more information and a link to our application, contact Kathryn Johnson at johnson@ymcaswin.org.
