CenterPoint Energy will be hosting a series of Community Connect meetings. Come connect with the CenterPoint team to learn about the critical investments they are making to improve reliability, the actions they are taking to prioritize customer affordability, and the financial assistance programs available to help with your energy bill and prepare for winter.

Today, youth from our CenterPoint Energy YMCA — Caldwell Center took a behind-the-scenes look at Evansville Regional Airport — from the board room to the checkpoint to the airfield.

Local youth learned about airfield lighting systems from EVV’s Assistant Director of Public Safety, Eddie Peterson, and visited with TSA officers for a close-up look at screening technology and procedures.

The Ascension St Vincent YMCA and Dunigan Family YMCA will be open normal hours (5AM-9PM) on Tuesday, 1/7, but will operate on a SNOW DAY schedule. Child Watch will be open 8AM-1PM & 3:30-7PM at both locations. Kids Zone will be open 8AM-1PM & 3:30-7PM at Ascension St Vincent YMCA and 3:30-7PM at Dunigan YMCA.
