Welcome to Alphabet Adventures!  Get ready for a joyful journey through the ABCs! In Alphabet Adventures, little learners will explore both uppercase and lowercase letters in a warm, encouraging environment where confidence grows week by week.  Each week we’ll focus on one special letter, discovering: The sound it makes How to form it correctly How to recognize it in words Our time together is hands-on, playful, and full of movement! We’ll use: Catchy songs Engaging stories Fun movements Simple games All designed to help children build a strong foundation in early literacy while having so much fun they don’t even realize how much they’re learning! To make each letter extra memorable, we’ll also create a themed craft that connects to the letter of the week — giving little hands something special to proudly take home and share.  Alphabet Adventures is all about making learning creative, engaging, and confidence-building as children grow in their ABC skills. If your child is ready to sing, move, create, and learn their letters in a joyful way — this is the perfect adventure to begin! 

Alphabet Adventures: The ABC Journey Continues! Get ready for another joyful adventure through the alphabet! This semester, Alphabet Adventures will focus on the second half of the ABCs, giving little learners a fun, hands-on way to build early literacy skills while growing their confidence along the way. Each week, we’ll spotlight a new letter and explore: Uppercase and lowercase recognition The sound each letter makes How to form and write the letter The letter in sign language Learning happens through playful, age-appropriate activities designed to keep little hands busy and little minds engaged. The Fall semester focused on the first half of the alphabet, and this semester we’ll continue the journey with new letters and new activities. Students do not need to have taken the Fall class to participate, but returning learners will be able to keep building on the skills and confidence they’ve already developed. Our goal is to help children become more comfortable recognizing letters, connecting letters to their sounds, practicing early writing skills, and building a strong foundation for reading — all in a warm and encouraging environment. New letters, new discoveries, and lots of ABC fun await!

American History – Part 2 of a 4-Semester Journey Through America’s Past How much do your students really know about how America was established? In this engaging, multi-semester course, we slow down and take the time to build a deep, meaningful understanding of American history—from its earliest beginnings to its foundational years. Semester 2: The 13 Colonies to the Bill of Rights Students do not need to have completed Semester 1 to enroll in Semester 2. Each semester stands on its own, and I provide the necessary background so every learner can jump in with confidence. This semester explores the dramatic and world-shaping events that led to the birth of the United States. Students won’t just memorize dates—they’ll uncover stories, analyze original documents, and connect the pieces of history together. Aquatic Adventures: Fitness, Games & Team Challenges Looking for a class that combines movement, teamwork, and fun in the water? Aquatic Adventures gives students a little bit of both — structured aquatic fitness activities and time for group games, challenges, and recreation. A typical class will be divided into two parts: Approximately half of class will focus on guided water-fitness style activities designed to build endurance, coordination, strength, and overall comfort moving in the water. The second half of class will shift into a group game, team challenge, relay, or other water-based activity where students can put that energy to use while having fun together. Fitness activities may include shallow- or deep-water movement, resistance exercises, endurance challenges, and other age-appropriate aquatic conditioning. Group activities may include: Relay races Team challenges Cooperative games Water-based competitions Coordination and movement challenges Familiar pool games with creative new twists This class is designed for students who enjoy being active but also want plenty of variety. They’ll work hard, play hard, and experience a different mix of activities throughout the semester. Aquatic Adventures is not a traditional swim lesson and is not a full-period fitness class. Instead, it intentionally combines aquatic conditioning with group recreation to create a balanced class experience. Students will naturally build strength, endurance, coordination, water confidence, teamwork, and communication skills while staying active and enjoying time in the pool. Half fitness. Half fun. One great class in the water!

Auto Basics: Know Your Car! You don’t have to be a mechanic to understand your car! Auto Basics is a practical, hands-on class designed to help teens become more confident around vehicles and learn the everyday skills every future driver and car owner should know. We’ll start under the hood and work our way around the vehicle, learning what things are, what they do, what to check, and when something might need attention. Students will explore: What’s under the hood and why it matters Basic fluids and routine vehicle checks Fuses and what the fuse box does Tire inspection and tread depth Lug nuts and removing a tire Finding and safely using a vehicle jack How to change a tire Checking and replacing basic filters How brakes work and signs they may need attention Heating and air-conditioning basics Preparing a vehicle for winter and summer Fuel basics and how different choices affect your vehicle But knowing your car is about more than turning a wrench! Students will also learn how to communicate confidently with a mechanic, including what questions to ask, how to request a quote before work begins, and what to watch for when paying for repairs or maintenance. The goal isn’t to turn students into professional mechanics — it’s to help them become safer, smarter, more confident vehicle owners who aren’t completely lost when the check-engine light comes on or a tire goes flat. Whether they’re already driving, getting ready to drive, or just interested in how cars work, this is practical knowledge they’ll use for years to come. Bike Repair & Mechanics: Know Your Ride! Love riding your bike? Now learn how it actually works! In Bike Repair & Mechanics, students will get hands-on with real bicycles while learning how to maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, and better understand the machine underneath them. This isn’t just a class where we talk about bikes — students will get a chance to look, touch, adjust, test, and practice as they discover how all those moving parts work together. Throughout the semester, students will explore: Adjusting seats and handlebars for a proper fit Understanding spokes, wheels, and gear systems How coaster brakes and hand brakes work Keeping brakes stopping safely and properly Oiling chains and maintaining cables What a derailleur is and how to adjust it Basic wheel bearing and cable maintenance Troubleshooting common bike problems Simple ways to keep a bicycle running smoothly Students will even have opportunities to bring in their own bikes and learn more about the machine they ride! Everybody Dance: Move & Groove to Dance Floor Favorites Turn up the music and get ready to MOVE! Everybody Dance is a high-energy class packed with modern line dances, party favorites, trending choreography, and the dances everyone wants to know. What rights are protected by the Bill of Rights — and what responsibilities come with being a citizen? In Government & Civics, students will explore the foundations of the United States government and learn how our system was designed to work. Human Body Systems: How It All Works Together Your body is made up of incredible systems working together every second of every day — but how much do we really understand about what’s happening inside us? Human Body Systems is an in-depth science class designed for students ages 13–18 (age 12 with approval) who are ready to take a closer look at how the human body functions and, most importantly, how its major systems connect and depend on one another. Throughout the semester, students will explore: Circulatory / Cardiovascular System Respiratory System Digestive System Nervous System Skeletal System Muscular System Integumentary System Endocrine System Lymphatic / Immune System Urinary / Excretory System Reproductive System Students won’t simply memorize the names of organs and body parts. We’ll dig into what each system does, how it functions, and what happens when multiple systems have to work together to keep the body moving, breathing, thinking, growing, healing, and functioning. Strength Training for Teens is designed to teach students how to train safely, effectively, and with confidence — whether they’re brand new to strength training or ready to keep building on what they already know. Teen Water Fitness: Train Hard. Stay Cool. Looking for a workout that’s challenging, low-impact, and anything but boring? Teen Water Fitness is designed for teens ages 13+ (12 with approval) who want to get stronger, build endurance, and stay active in a fun group environment — all in the water! Throughout the semester, students will rotate through a variety of aquatic workouts, including: Shallow-water fitness Deep-water training Interval-style workouts Resistance exercises HydroRyders Strength and endurance challenges Using the natural resistance of the water, students will work their entire body while building strength, cardiovascular endurance, coordination, and stamina. And because the workouts and equipment change throughout the semester, class stays fresh, challenging, and engaging. Water fitness also provides a great workout with less impact on the joints, making it a unique way for teens to challenge themselves without relying on a traditional gym or weight-room workout. Whether your teen is an athlete looking for another way to train, wants to improve overall fitness, or simply prefers working out in the pool, Teen Water Fitness gives them a new way to move, work hard, and have fun with friends. The Becoming Me Club: Who Are You Becoming? Growing up comes with a lot of change. Friendships shift. Responsibilities grow. Decisions get bigger. Expectations change. You start figuring out what matters to you, what kind of person you want to be, and how to handle everything life throws your way. The Becoming Me Club is a 15-week social-emotional wellness class for ages 13–17 that gives teens space to better understand themselves, strengthen important life skills, and explore the person they are becoming. Through meaningful conversations, interactive activities, real-life scenarios, creative challenges, reflection, and group experiences, students will explore how their thoughts, emotions, bodies, habits, relationships, values, and choices all connect. Throughout the semester, we’ll dive into topics like: Understanding emotions and managing stress What happens in our bodies when we feel overwhelmed Sleep, movement, and physical wellness Healthy habits and digital wellbeing Confidence, self-worth, and self-compassion Friendship, belonging, and navigating changing relationships Communication and handling conflict Setting and respecting boundaries Values and making decisions that feel true to you Handling mistakes, setbacks, and uncertainty Building resilience Identity, independence, and figuring out what matters This isn’t a class about being told what you “should” think, feel, or do. Instead, students will be encouraged to ask questions, think critically, try different strategies, and discover what actually works for them. Because becoming yourself isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about learning to understand yourself a little better, knowing what you value, developing healthy ways to handle challenges, and becoming more confident in the choices you make along the way. The Becoming Me Club is a place to talk, think, laugh, question, practice, and grow — while building skills that can be used long after the semester ends. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You’re still becoming — and that’s the whole point. Please note: The Becoming Me Club is a psychoeducational enrichment class. It is not therapy, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or diagnosis. The Feelings Explorer Club: Big Feelings, Growing Skills! Big feelings can be tricky — especially when you’re still learning what they mean, where they come from, and what to do with them! In The Feelings Explorer Club, children will learn all about feelings, friendships, their bodies, and the little everyday skills that help us take care of ourselves and connect with others. Through stories, games, movement, creative activities, mindfulness, role-play, and plenty of hands-on fun, our Feelings Explorers will discover that all feelings are okay — and that we can learn healthy ways to understand and work through them. Throughout the semester, children will explore things like: Recognizing and naming emotions Understanding the signals our bodies give us Calming down when feelings get BIG Friendship and empathy Communicating wants and needs Asking for help Personal boundaries Problem-solving and handling disagreements Building confidence and resilience Caring for our bodies through food, water, sleep, movement, and rest Along the way, students will begin building their very own “wellness toolbox” filled with strategies they can use when they’re frustrated, worried, excited, overwhelmed, disappointed, or just having one of those days. Welcome to The Inside-Out Club — a fun, interactive class all about understanding what’s happening on the inside and how it affects what we do on the outside! Designed for ages 8–12, this class gives students a chance to explore their thoughts, emotions, body signals, choices, friendships, and everyday challenges through games, experiments, movement, stories, creative activities, group challenges, discussions, and real-life scenarios. By the end of the semester, students will leave The Inside-Out Club with a better understanding of their own inner world, practical skills for handling everyday challenges, and more confidence navigating friendships, emotions, mistakes, stress, and all the ups and downs of growing up. In Geography, we’ll become map-reading masters and world explorers — discovering the places, landmarks, and states that make our country (and planet!) so amazing. Here’s what our adventure will include: Learning how to read and understand maps ???? Memorizing all 50 states and their capitals Creating our own maps Exploring famous landmarks And whatever other exciting places our curiosity takes us!  This class is hands-on, engaging, and just the right mix of learning and fun. We’ll build strong geography skills while sparking curiosity about the world beyond our own backyard. Expect: Interactive activities Fun memorization challenges Lively discussions Lots of “Did you know?!” moments Geography isn’t just about places — it’s about understanding the world we live in and seeing how everything connects. Homeschool Yearbook: Create. Collaborate. Celebrate! What does it take to turn an entire school year into something families will treasure for years? In Homeschool Yearbook, students become the creative team behind our program’s yearbook — capturing memories, telling stories, designing pages, and working together to create a finished book from start to finish. Throughout the semester, students will gain hands-on experience with: Photography and photo selection Page design and layout Writing captions and short features Typing and computer publishing Editing and proofreading Marketing and advertising Budgeting and sales Organization and meeting deadlines Teamwork and creative decision-making Students won’t just learn about these skills — they’ll actually use them on a real project that represents our Homeschool Crew and the memories we’ve made together. From choosing photos and designing layouts to deciding what stories deserve a spot on the page, every student will have opportunities to contribute their own ideas and talents. Along the way, they’ll build valuable real-world skills like communication, responsibility, collaboration, creativity, time management, and problem-solving. And at the end of it all? They’ll get to hold a finished yearbook and know: We made this. If your student enjoys photography, design, writing, technology, organization, marketing — or simply wants to help capture the story of our homeschool year — there’s a place for them on the team.
