Honoring Buddy Rogers

The Toyota Indiana Y will close at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 26th, as we welcome family and friends for the visitation of our dear friend and supporter, Buddy Rogers. Our gymnasium will be reserved for the day to prepare for this gathering and provide a welcoming space for his loved ones.

As we remember Buddy, we are grateful for the kindness, generosity, and heart he shared so freely with our YMCA family. He was a true pillar of our Y—a deeply generous supporter whose impact was matched only by his presence.

Buddy did more than support our facility from afar; he poured his heart into it. He spent time alongside our members and staff, funding and actively leading programs in the Buddy and Puff Rogers Teaching Kitchen. His warmth and daily dedication made our YMCA a better place and touched countless lives.

Visitation will be held in the Toyota Indiana Y gymnasium on Saturday, September 26th, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Thank you for your understanding as we honor Buddy’s life and surround Puff and the Rogers family with care and support. His legacy will live on through the programs he helped build, the community he strengthened, and every life touched by his kindness.
