Prayer Request

Our founding fathers started with prayer; thus, we continue with prayer. The YMCA was birthed when George Williams, 21, and two of his friends felt God leading them to a strategy of praying by name for the other 150 members of their drapery firm in London. As time went on, the staff members began to inquire about spiritual things and commit their lives to Christ.

Today, we want to continue our heritage by elevating prayer at our YMCA. We know prayer matters to God. We know it matters to our staff and members. Prayer works!

In each of our YMCAs, we have a prayer box, where we welcome members and staff to share their requests. We all need prayer! But, often, there are things that take place in our life where we need others to pray for us. Would you share your prayer request? Your request goes directly to our Director of Christian Mission, Grant Brown, so our prayer team pray for your request. Note: All prayer requests are kept confidential.
