MEMBERSHIP

The Membership Team is searching for individuals who want to engage, serve, and care for our members, program participants, visitors, and guest. These positions provide and maintain a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals.

  • Member Service – The Member Service Team Member responds to member and guest needs and promotes memberships and programs and will also register people for memberships, programs, and services.
  • Building Supervisor – The Building Supervisor serves as the lead staff of the facility in the evenings and early mornings when full-time Directors are not available or out of the building.
  • Child Watch Team Member – This position cares for the children 0 to 5 year olds while parents are in a YMCA class or in the wellness center up to 2 hours.
  • Kids Zone Team Member – This position cares for the children 6 to 10 year olds while parents are in the YMCA class or in the Wellness Center up to 2 hours.

MAINTENANCE

The Maintenance/Housekeeping Team is searching for a highly qualified full-time and part-time Housekeepers to maintain our facilities and improve our membership experience.

  • Housekeepers – This position is responsible for frontline cleaning, operating cleaning machines, overseeing the continuous improvement of the housekeeping process, and reporting supply needs.
  • Maintenance Techs – This position will assist the Building and Grounds Director with preventive maintenance and repairs of the facility.

AQUATICS

The Aquatic Team is searching for certified aquatic staff in the areas of water fitness, aquatic instruction, and lifeguarding.  These positions would be part-time and support the initiatives and goals of the Aquatic Department.

  • Lifeguard – This position is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the patrons in the pool area.
  • Swim Instructor – This position is responsible for the instruction of students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on the YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum.
  • Water Fitness Instructor – This position is responsible for working with members and guest in a courteous and motivating manner through water exercise.
  • Aquatic Helpers – This position is part-time and assists the Aquatic Director in setting up and tearing down for a swim meet, along with assisting with the timing system during a swim meet.  

WELLNESS

The Wellness Team is searching for individuals who want to serve, and assist members live healthier, stronger, and longer. Be a motivator, coach, bring energy and fun!

  • Personal Trainers – This position works independently under general direction to provide safe and effective one-to-one (or small group) personal training to program participants.  The Personal Trainer must be able to guide, educate and motivate participants toward reaching their personal wellness goals. Please include your certifications.
  • Wellness Service Members – this position works in the wellness center supporting the members and guest. This position will assist with wellness center orientations, engaging with members, encouraging members to live healthier.
  • Group Exercise – Instructors will be trained to teach Les Mills pre-choreograph group exercise classes. We are looking for energetic, fun, and caring individuals to be a trained and certified group exercise instructor.
  • Chronic Disease Instructors – CD Program Instructors help the community prevent life-threatening illnesses by teaching valuable life skills to plan for their healthier future. CD Instructors will teach Diabetes Prevention, Livestrong at the YMCA, and blood pressure self-monitoring.
