Today during Five Days of Action®, we’re encouraging parents and caregivers to stay on top of trends and research online safety.

From apps to gaming, staying on top of digital trends can be overwhelming. @ncmec offers free resources to help trusted adults understand online risks including sextortion and the growing use of generative AI and talk with kids about staying safe.

Today’s Five Days of Action focus is on recognizing red flags online and in-person.

Due to ongoing weather conditions, all Evansville and Princeton YMCA locations will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26th.

• Though area schools are closed on Monday, Child Care Services such as our School Day Off program will not be offered since YMCA facilities will be closed.

• After Hours Access will be available (to members who have previously signed up for access) at the Dunigan Family YMCA on Oak Grove Rd.

All Evansville and Princeton YMCAs will be closed on Sunday, 1/25/26.

• Gibson County Commissioners have declared a state of emergency for Gibson County. Therefore, the Toyota Indiana YMCA in Princeton will remain closed until the state of emergency is lifted.

In its third season competing in the First LEGO League robotics tournament, the Techno Titans from CenterPoint YMCA @ Caldwell earned enough points to advance to the semi-state tournament later this month.

The Techno Titans members are students in grades 4-8 and participate through the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana’s Outreach program.
